Burberry is London Fashion Week. No other British designer encapsulates the movement and posture of this great city. Anna Calvi providing the backdrop with her sultry blues filled voice made Christopher Baileys Burberry a perfect companion to the gloomy weather. From lavish knits to deconstructed shirts and to razor sharp black and white cuts rolled down the runway with such poise and passion that you may have thought it was the last show of the fashion week. And in many it is really a highlight of LFW as the clothes were a testament to the mastery of Bailey and provided a solid account of the avant-garde nature of Burberry despite being the quintessential heritage brand.
