Tatiana Andersen Camre SS17: Dance Yourself Clean

By Lotus Ladegaard

Tatiana Andersen Camre’s SS17 collection was another display of her unique touch and eye for beautiful bold prints in understated colors. The collection stayed true to her foundational philosophy of working with minimalist designs. Among her flowy and airy garments were a few more fitted pieces which created a nice contrast of contours. Ballet dancers danced their way down the circular runway in the inner courtyard of the historical Thorvaldsens Museum which made for a beautiful setting. While the show felt a bit long winded, it was still one of the better shows at the Fashion Week. The inspiration for her SS17 collection was the nine Greek muses which was not always easy to see had it not been for the beautiful setting.  Her bold prints in many ways makes up for the lack of intricate design, but it all feels a bit repetitive at times. All in all, it is a very wearable and sellable collection and Tatiana Andersen Camre yet again has managed to create a collection with garments for women of all sizes and shapes.
