(Pre)Fall-ing in Love with Roberto Cavalli

Peter Dundas left Roberto Cavalli in October as did some of the creative team associated with Roberto Cavalli. So it is expected that the fashion house would at least be in the middle of a transitional phase. And that may very well be the case in terms of logistics but in terms of aesthetics and clothes, it seems Roberto Cavalli has moved on rapidly...and they have moved on to their roots. The flamboyant, glamorous aesthetic of the pre-fall collection is foundational to RC and it comes through in rock-n-roll pants and Caravaggio-inspired embroidery. If this a homecoming for Roberto Cavalli , then it is the best homecoming we have seen in a long time.
